I met my sister in New Orleans this past week. It was my birthday and it was the week-long RT (Romantic Times) Booklovers Convention. So, since we are both voracious romance readers, we decided to meet up and enjoy ourselves. And we so did! I'll share more about RT possibly another time, but here are some of my favorite Nola shots of the week...
One of the best meals we had was at Cochon...check out that vinegar w/ peppers! Yummm...

Of course we did this. My sister in front of Cafe Du Monde...g'damn those beignets! So good!
Took a pitstop at the local Whole Foods and just found this WALL of vegetables to be DIVINE! How pretty is that?
We caught a wedding processional walking down the streets of the French Quarter. The ENTIRE wedding did the march and were singing and waving the white hankies. I LOVED it (sorry...bad picture!)
Truly one of the BEST moments was getting to meet Kristen Ashley. She is a shared favorite author of mine and my sister's and it was so freaking AWESOME meeting her. SO MUCH LOVE for this woman and her books!
Really a great time! *whew*...now I'm all caught up with my pictures! :)
