Sorry for the hiatus. I thought I had nothing to say, but in actuality, I had just too much going on!
Since we last spoke:
I bought a home! I know, I know...we've been here before. But, remember that home I posted in Phase II? Well, it turned out to be way cuter and much more charming than I had imagined from the pictures. And I fell in love. And no matter how much I tried to talk myself out of it (brace yourselves: It's 100 years old. It's next to a busy street with many-a-homeless-man. And, ever hear of www.meganslaw.ca.gov? How does 6 within 2 miles sound to you?)
You may think I'm crazy. Heck, I think I'm crazy. But the house has got sumthin'...special.
Full inspection tomorrow...and maybe my last chance to back out. I'm paying too much for it. The repairs and renovations are more than I can handle. I'm in over my head.
I am happy.

- Had a great birthday! Yay!
- Saw "Star Trek"...and loved it!
- Enjoyed blistering heat in the Bay Area!
- Got physically beaten up by heat, cramps, and some rogue ground balls in softball!
- And...
