Jury Duty. I've managed to have never been called to even show up to the courthouse. My luck has since run out. Mine was one of 3 groups out of 13 called. And I'm scared. Ha! I've never been. What if I get picked for a long drawn out trial in which I am the only dissenting voice on the entire jury and the world falls apart while I'm holed up deliberating? Ok, ok...enough with the drama. Ack. I'll go and get this thing over with.
Any suggestions on how to get out of being picked for the actual jury...ones that actually work?
*sigh*...

Are you getting called in for the civil court by city hall or the criminal court on Market? I went in for the civil court and it was actually pretty fun. Our judge was cool and he was saying that even if you get picked the cases usually last less than a week.
I was called to the Hall of Justice on Bryant. And guess what? Its a 7-week criminal case!!! Even my judge thought it was odd to have such a case tried at this location!
