Even though its not 100% officially mine (yet!), I'm already starting to think about how I'm going to decorate my new home! Its stressful! I'm moving from a 450sf studio apartment to a 1000sf 2+BR home! I need to get some stuff to fill out my empty shell! HELP!
Thankfully, there are some great new helpful tools available in the world-of-decorating these days that may alleviate my neurosis...a bit...
The Sofa Company has an online "sofa builder" tool. You can choose the style, the frame, the fill, the stitching, the color, the material...to create your perfect sofa. And the prices are extremely reasonable. Inexpensive, even.
Home Depot's Glidden paint display now also has testers that include brush applicators! For under $3, you can buy a 2oz tester size of the paint color you're thinking of using. So, instead of spending hours flipping through all the paint chips wondering if its just the right shade and how it will look in your particular light, you can give it a trial run to see! Love that!

I'll be spending my long Memorial Day weekend praying that my house sale is finalized and scouring magazines for inspiration on how to decorate my soon-to-be first home!
What about you? What will you be up to?
